I have not had any problems with my washing machine yet, it is new but so far No Complaints! We are so pleased with our new G.E. washing machine and Dryer.

The lime build-up in the tub is usually caused by a reaction between the calcium in hard water and the sodium carbonate in detergent. Some methods you could try to help reduce the buildup are to use a liquid detergent, install a home water softener (this will significantly reduce buildup), and/or use a packaged non-precipitating water softener.
