how long is the electrical plug null

Too short. Its less than 5 feet. I had difficulty getting the new washer cord to the outlet. Had to move dryer to get cord from washer to socket. GE really shouldn't have skimped on the cord. It also draws more electricity than my old smart washer. Weird. The lights flicker in the basement.
