Hello Nikki, Thanks for reaching out. We're happy to help a laundry fanatic! This model washer has been given the stamp of approval by the Good Housekeeping Institute. This washer has a variety of cleaning options including steam cleaning and sanitize + allergen cycle. Typically, most comforters will fit. As long as the comforter fits below the balance ring and isn't stuffed in the tub tightly. The comforter's thickness and density should be taken into account. We hope this helps. Best wishes!
