• Hello Macichloe - Thank you for choosing GE Appliances. We are happy to help. When first using the oven, we recommend you set the oven on Bake at 500 degrees F for 1 hour, followed by Hi Broil for 45 minutes. This will help burn off any smells that maybe left from the manufacturing process so try to keep the kitchen well ventilated. Thanks! - John@GEA
