Hi TigerLady -Thanks for reaching out to us regarding the non-stick griddle included with your range. For best performance, the griddle should be washed with dish soap and hot water. If necessary, scrub with a non-abrasive plastic pad. Do not clean the griddle in the self-clean cycle or in the dishwasher. Leaving the griddle burner on at Hi for an extended amount of time without food can damage the nonstick coating. Use only plastic, nylon, wooden utensils, or SilverStone kitchen tools to prevent marring of the coating. Never use knives or metal utensils with sharp points or cut food on the griddle.
