“This 29" deep. Is that to the outside of the knobs and handle?and how does that work in a standard 24" countertop and cabinet base? Does it stick out 5 or 6 inches?”

It sicks out a couple inches, however a standard 24" cabinet has 1"-1.5" of countertop beyond the cabinet.
