“My outlet is far from oven. Does this need electricity to operate? If so can it be lit w/ match manually? Though doing this would be a pain, how safe is running a long power cord while using oven & ranges at the same time? Blow up a fuse? (old building).”

Hi NadiaNYC- The range requires a 120 volt, 15 amp circuit. It is factory-equipped with a 4 ft. power cord. It has an electronic ignition system.
