Hello there - Thanks so much for your interest in this beautiful range! There are some great cleaning tips for the cooktop on pages 21 and 22 of the owner's manual (linked on our website). One important note is that we recommend cleaning it with a ceramic cooktop cleaner before using the cooktop for the first time. This helps protect the top and makes cleanup easier. As for possible scratches, these marks are removable using the ceramic cooktop cleaner with a non-scratch cleaning pad for ceramic cooktops. We hope this helps!
