Hi Max- To ensure the performance and safety of the range, we do not recommend reusing an existing power cord. You will need a new UL Listed 40 AMP 4-Wire Cord 4’ long or 3-Wire Cord 4’ long. I would say yes. there is a wiring diagram with or on the unit. however, your going to put a lot of use on this. How old was the last one? might want to consider a new one just because.
