“My Hot Cooktop Light doesn’t go off ! Please advise....”

Never have had the problem my light come on and goes off as it should for all of the burners. Does this happen for all burners or just one burner might be of help to the repair man.

When the glass around each burner goes above 150 degrees F, the hot surface light will come on to remind you that the surface is hot. After the unit is turned off, the light will remain on until the area around the burner has cooled to below 150 degrees F. This usually takes about twenty minutes or so.
