Does this oven need a vent? null

All ranges without a downdraft vent need a vent above them if that is what you are referring to. Otherwise the oven vents itself out the back and out behind the burners along the wall.

Hello KB123 - This model has built-in venting for the oven itself, simply follow all installation instructions to ensure nothing is obstructed. We do recommend installing a 30 inch wide hood or over-the-range microwave above this unit to vent the cooktop. - TREY@GEA
