“Having seen this range in the store, it is not technically a "slide-in" range. It is a freestanding range because the glass top does not extend over the countertops on either side. Does GE make a true slide-in range?”

• Hi - Thanks for your interest in our new Slide-in Range! Starting in September 2017, we introduced electric, gas, and dual fuel front control slide-in ranges with no overhang, an edge-to-edge cooking surface, and color matched finished sides. No overhang simplifies installation in a standard 30" free-standing range cutout, especially with countertops less than or more than 36" and can be installed with counters with beveled edges.
