Just heat it up to 350-400 degrees for 20 minutes or so....you'll be fine!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi Dan - The small amount of odor and/or smoke from the oven on a new wall oven or gas, electric or dual fuel range is normal when first used. It is caused by the heating of new parts, insulating materials, or the tape used in shipping, and should dissipate after the first few uses. If you want to get rid of the odor quicker, we suggest to follow the self-cleaning instructions in your Owner's Manual: https://products.geappliances.com/MarketingObjectRetrieval/Dispatcher?RequestType=PDF&Name=49-85239-1.PDF - A slight odor when the cooktop is used for the first time is also normal.
