• Hi Eliz - Thanks for viewing GE Model AHP12LZ! The air conditioner does not have an outside air vent. Select older model room air conditioners had outside vents that could be used when it is cool outdoors. During these times, the vent could have been opened, allowing the unit to pull in fresh air rather than air conditioning the room. Current models no longer offer this feature. • This unit can only circulate inside air. There is no small opening for some outside air (older units used to have these)
