It might be on eco mode or has hit the desired temperature. Also the display turns off to save electricity, but if you touch any button it will turn back on.

Your AC is most likely set in Eco mode. What this does is the fan will cycle on and off with the compressor. This may result in wider variations of room temperature and humidity. NOTE: the fan may continue to run for a short time or may pulse intermittently after the compressor cycles off to sample the room air. Please check the owner's manual for instructions on the different modes this AC has. Have a good one! Mike@GEA
