Your unit is most likely over-filled with water. Your unit draws moisture from the air, so if you live in a humid area, you will have to drain it regularly. It’s either that or you have a crack in the base of your portable a/c. If you have two drain plugs on the back of your unit, you can connect a hose to the top plug and then put the other end of the hose into an empty container. Hope that helps.

The automatic evaporation technology decreases the likelihood of having to empty the internal water tank. There can be situations where the amount of humidity being removed is greater than the air conditioner can handle. If the internal tank is full, the air conditioner will stop running and "FL" will be shown on the display. You would then need to empty the internal tank as described in the Owner's Manual. We would recommend double checking to ensure the air conditioner has been placed on a firm level surface. If it has been and the air conditioner continues to leak, please refer to your Owner's Manual for information regarding your warranty coverage.
