QuestionI do not have a double oven, just a standard GE range. The oven won't turn off. It registers as off but heat billows out when we open the oven door. I just baked a cake.

QuestionWhat are the dimensions for the griddle?

- Answer The griddle is part number WB31X49806 and the approximate size is 19 3/8 H x 9 W x 1 1/2 D the same as the JXGRATE1 grate. Joyce@GEAppliances

QuestionWhat size is the gas connector. I received a 1/2 inch hose but it says for dryers on package..

- Answer Used the connector hose that came that said for dryer on it since it had the 1/2 inch fittings. Had PGE come and check everything and they said all is well. Dryer hose connector is not an issue. They tested gas pressure along with kicking on water heater at same time. All good.

QuestionDoes oven need to sit flush against wall ? My current gas line is high up on my wall. Picture of back of oven shows detention on the bottom. Will this be an issue ?

- Answer The griddle that comes with this range is a non-stick aluminum griddle. We also offer a reversible cast iron grill/griddle accessory - JXGRILL1 that is compatible with this model range. The other reversible grill/griddle accessory we offer is the JXGRILL2. It is not compatible with this model range. -Vikki@GEAppliances

- Answer This JGBS86SPSS model is only available in a traditional stainless steel finish. We recommend checking out model GGF600AVWW, which comes in a white finish and can be found on the Best Buy website. Lauren@GEAppliances

- Answer I haven't used it yet, but according to the directions you pour water in an indention on the bottom. It heats up and steams the inside. Theoretically it should work.
