“I noticed a few comments on there being no interior light even though the add states there is one. What's the correct answer? This is a must for me and I'd hate to waste time returning the freezer.”

Hi Cher, Thank you for your interest in GE Appliances. We apologize for any confusion. FCM7SKWW does not feature an interior light. Models FCM11PHWW, FCM16DJWW and FCM22DJWW feature interior lighting. We hope this helps.

We have the GE 7 cubic ft. chest freezer and it does not have an interior light.

Hello. I confirmed this with GE directly, there is no light. I have the freezer for about 3 weeks. It's a GE, you won't need the light. It does what it supposed to.
