“Can this dryer's door be opened down to keep clothes being moved into it from landing on the floor? If not, is there another GE model that does? I'm looking to buy a W/D set, and am looking at the GTW465ASNWW. Thank You.”

Hi Ziesta - Thanks for considering GE! The dryer door on model GTD42EASJWW/GTD42GASJWW opens left to right (the door is reversible). This allows for easier access when loading/unloading. Opens from left to right. Buy a small hamper and put it underneath the door, so the clothes that falls lands inside and not on the floor.
