Unplug the machine. Take the access cover off of the back of the control panel. Unplug the buzzer. It’s the only thing back there that has only 2 wires going to it. I unplugged only the black wire. Replace access cover. Plug back in. No buzzer

There is less chance of clothes getting wrinkled if they are removed from the dryer promptly, and the signal alerts you that the cycle is about to end. Model #:GTD42EASJWW has a variable end-of-cycle signal. This signal can be turned on and off and has an adjustable tone (Off/Medium/Loud). If you have any additional questions, don’t hesitate to ask.
