• Unlike washers, I believe the terminology is different within the description. I am making an educated guess based on what we have seen.... I believe "top load" describes the dryer door as "opening" at the top, or rather folding down. Whereas side load refers to the same type of door or the same door location, but the door "swings" open to the side. Both doors are located on the front of the dryer, but open in two different orientations.

• On top. The door opens up light old style washer but has the glass top

• It has a right swinging, front loading door. There is no "top load".
