Countertop Microwave Oven Model # PEM31SFSS. Trim kits are not interchangeable. Model PEM31SFSS is compatible with 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX827SFSS (sold separately). I purchase the same model, but there are some differences in the unit, so the old trim kit will NOT work with the new unit. I had to purchase the kit for the new unit. If you are a good handyman you can build some shelving. A neighbor of mine did that and it, turned out good. I will do that next time. Can't help you with a compatible unit. There should be plenty enough room to fit in the opening.
