“Im going to purchase the GE 24" Front control Tall Tub dishwasher. I already have an existing one installed. Do I really need to purchase install kit? I have an extra hose that was never used before. Does this dishwasher have its own powercord?”

Hi - Thanks for choosing GE Model GDF630PSMSS! We certainly appreciate your loyalty. The dishwasher can be hard-wired or installed with a power cord kit (sold separately). A drain hose is included. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If you already had an existing dishwasher, the same power line will be used again. The new dishwasher will come with a new drain hose. Some additional hardware may be needed for the hot water line but not much.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.We purchased the install kit because we had to in order to schedule the installation. The installers did use the new hose and some of the hardware. I’m not sure about the power cord because ours is direct wired. But I don’t believe it comes with one
