Hi Joey, We thank you for contacting us. If all of your other appliances are Slate, then the dishwasher, also being in Slate, will compliment the rest of your appliances well. Light can play a large role in how finishes are perceived. If you are worried about the Slate finish's look, we would recommend contacting a local dealer so you are able to see the finish in person. But do know that we sell full suites of appliances with finishes that will allow them to compliment one another for a complete look in your home. We hope that this helped to clear things up.
