Q: QuestionIs the middle rack removable? If not, what is the maximum distance that we can get between middle rack's tallest height setting and lower rack? I am trying to see if I can fit 25" sink rack for washing. Thanks for replying

• A:Answer Hi Girl - Thanks for considering GE! The adjustable middle rack is not designed to be removed except by a technician. You have about 13.5" between the lower and middle rack if you're at the edges of the rack, but because of the spray arm under the middle rack, you have about 12" clearance. • A:Answer Hi aksharam! Thanks for your question. We're finding that this model has an overall height of 34". All dishwasher brands since the early 60s are designed to go in a 24" space and are adjustable from 34" to 35" high (ADA compliant models can adjust lower). Hope you're staying safe. -Michael@GEA

• A:Answer Hey and thanks for your great question! The upper rack adjusts up or down 2” to allow larger dishes to be placed. Pushing the flaps on each side will allow you to lower the rack, while pulling up until it locks in place allows you to raise it.
