“Stainless Steel I am going to replace my white appliances with stainless steel. I have noticed that stainless steel finished appliances tend to show a lot of smudges and finger prints. I have read online that using a car wax on the stainless steel will prevent this from occurring. Do you recommend using the car wax?”

Stainless steel specific wipe and shine cleaning wax is preferred for appliances!

In order to keep your appliance looking like new, GE recommends cleaning it with the following: Cerama Bryte® stainless steel appliance cleaner on stainless steel exteriors or interiors. This can be purchased through GE Parts, 16 oz bottle Part number PM10X311. Citrushine Stainless Steel Wipes, removes fingerprints, de-greases and shines without streaking. This can be purchased through GE Parts, Part number WX10X10007. For heavy soils: Use a paste of baking soda and water while rubbing with a soft cloth. I hope this helps! Thanks for checking with us!
