Hi ALIX, thanks for taking the time to reach out. We can understand wanting to check on this. When measuring the unit, you would need to make sure that the ruler is touching the countertop and going up from that point to account for the bottom/feet and overall height. Make sure that you're not just measuring from the bottom of the door upward. - If you are still having issues, you are free to reach out to us via social media. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The face of my microwave is 13" high, but the feet which are set further back add about another inch. So if you were planning on putting the microwave in an opening 12" or 13" high it would not go through.
