Microwave it’s not as good as microwave it replaced. GE told me I could use the current trim kit that I had. So I only ordered the microwave. The old trim kit does not fit new microwaves the holes are off just enough to where it can’t be used. I did searches of four days trying to find a stainless steel trim kit even though GE told me there was only a black trim kit for the new microwave. In my search that’s all it was coming up for me also. Right before I put the order for the black trim kit in the cart I thought about reading the reviews on this site and there was a review there that someone was asking about the stainless steel trim kit. And someone answered back and said yes there is. The person gave the model number of the black trim kit and the stainless trim kit. So I was able to pull up the stainless and look at it. It did cost quite a bit more. But I bought it anyway. I believe the replacement microwave that GE has and the stainless trim kit are nowhere near the quality my old microwave and stainless trim kit was.

You will also have to purchase a new trim kit so that it provides the proper air flow the microwave needs. The part numbers for 27" and 30" trim kits are 27"(JX7227DLBB) and 30"(JX7230DLBB). We're so glad that you checked! -Mikayla@GEA
