“I'm looking for a comparable replacement (same dimensions) for a built-in microwave oven to GE Profile, JE1590SC. I have the 30" trim kit which I'd like to re-use. Just need the replacement on the microwave.”

We encourage you to measure the actual opening you have available in your cabinetry. Going just by your microwave model number, we don't offer a microwave that requires that size opening. You might consider model PCWK15C1WSS and the 30" kit in stainless (JX9153SJSS). The built-in kits consist of several parts that go inside the cabinet and are attached to the microwave. The kit in it's entirety is intended to create the airflow needed in the cabinet to allow the microwave to function properly. Any shortcuts could result in the microwave not performing properly. -Vikki@GEAppliances

After a couple of hours of research I learned that when I replaced my built-in Monogram microwave the existing trim was not compatible. The funny thing was the new trim piece worked great, but it was almost as expensive as the on sale Profile microwave. As I recall the trim piece is not returnable if you get it wrong.
