A:AnswerIf you purchase a similarly sized microwave, you should be able to use the same trim kit. You may have to shim the bottom and level the new microwave. It only took me a total of one hour for me to remove the old one, install the new one, shim it and level it. Hope this helps.

A:AnswerNo the old trim kit will not work
, the dimensions of the new microwave are not the same as the old.
I actually had to shim the new microwave on the bottom in order to center the new microwave in the hole correctly to fit the new trim kit.
Best of Luck
Sorry I do not have any pictures

A:AnswerI saw that there was a trim kit but it cost so much I decided to use the one of the old microwave. I had to do a little adapting but it's fine. If you are not a handy-person go ahead and buy one. GE should have the number for the kit. You can get it through Best buy, too.
A:AnswerHello! Thanks for your question. No, this does not come with the equipment needed to build it in. You will need the required trim kit, which is either part number JX7227DLBB or JX7230DLBB. These trim kits will come with the parts needed to build in the microwave along with the trim kit frame. We hope this helps! Stay safe. - Emily
