Chad, interior dark grey. Keypad (a definite con) is not lighted. I did not realize this before having shipped to me. There is no selection available on the keypad to turn the interior light on. There may be a reason for that, not sure. Interior light on only when opened and when operating. Other than that, I like it very much.

Hi Chad - The microwave has a gray epoxy interior. We suggest to click on the photo to view the interior. Also, the keypad is not backlit. The light colored lettering is a contrast on the dark keypad for easy viewing. Thanks for your interest! Sue
