“I am replacing model JE2160SF01 with PEB7227SLSS. Will the trim kit that we have on the older model fit the newer model? It sure would be nice to save some money! The trim kits are expensive! Thank you.”

Hi Gracie - We certainly appreciate your loyalty. The built-in trim kits are not interchangeable. A trim kit consists of the trim frame, as well as ducts that encase and attach to the microwave inside the cabinet cut-out. It is very important to only use the trim kit designed for that model. We apologize for any inconvenience and expense this causes. PEB7227SLSS is compatible with GE® Required 27" Built-In Trim Kit JX7227SLSS and GE® Required 30" Built-In Trim Kit JX7230SLSS.
