Check your water filter by removing it and empty the water. Replace the filter making sure it’s completely tight by proper rotation. Immediately purge the air pressure within the filter and water system by using the water dispenser. This is for GE Profile and Cafe models. My Cafe refrigerator was manufactured in the year 2000. You may have to replace the water filter making sure it’s installed tight so that the sensors operate properly.

We now have a new home and purchased another ge profile. This one one of the features we really liked and part of the reason we purchased another one. Not happy!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi cmark6, thanks for your question! Some models that were manufactured before 2019 may display the amount of water in ounces (oz) while dispensing. This model first starting being manufactured in 2020 so it will not display the ounces while filling a glass. We hope that this helps to clear things up! Stay safe. -Michael@GEA
