Hi there! We appreciate your curiosity and are happy to share more about this refrigerator. Coffee mugs and thermoses can come in many shapes in sizes. The dispenser height is 7-1/8" from the bottom tray to the dispense point. This will fill most, but not all travel mugs and cups, as well as smaller items. We hope this helps. - John@GEAppliances
