Does this model have an open bottom? null

Thanks so much for taking the time to reach out about this great dishwasher! This model does not have an open bottom. Instead, it has a Leak Pan with Sensor. You can take a look at this Leak Pan with part number WD28X25653. If you have any other questions, let us know! -Chris@GEA

Not sure what you mean by "open bottom". See photo and decide for yourself. Hope this helps. Also, I really like this dishwasher. It is so quiet I have to keep looking at the panel to make sure it's still running. Dishes come out great. I had to wait for 5 months for it to be delivered, well worth the wait. I'm sure it was not Best Buy's problem, there are lots of supply chain issues going on around the world right now.
