Q: QuestionWill this model fit to replace my old cooktop model JP989BK1BB?
Asked by Hopeful.
- A:Answer We have reviewed the specifications for your existing downdraft cooktop and for the new PP9830DRBB model. We can confirm the cutout dimensions needed for both units are the same. There is a fractional difference in the overall width dimensions of the two units. We do not anticipate this being an issue. That said, we do encourage you to doublecheck and measure the opening you have available in your counter top and compare those to what is needed for the new model. To view the document listing all pertinent dimensions, click on the "Features" tab and scroll to the bottom of the list to find the "Specifications Sheet". Also, we recommend removing the old cooktop and downdraft system entirely and replace it with the new system that comes with the new cooktop.
