• Hi BostonMom - GE Profile™ Series 30" Downdraft Electric Cooktop PP9830DJBB is equipped with an integrated downdraft venting system. The powerful exhaust system effectively pulls smoke and steam out of the kitchen. It must be vented to the outside and does not have recirculating option. Thanks for viewing GE! Sue
