“Our cut out is 25 3/4 x 19 1/4. Can it be just laid on top of the counter over the hole? We don't know the amperage of the outlet. How do we find that out? The specs say a power cord is not included? Is this so? Do we have to buy that separately?”

Best Buy sent a consultant who answered those type of questions. We bought a trim piece to take care of the difference in size of the hole and the stovetop. But my husband had to put bracing under the trim to secure the appliance. We had to have a new power outlet installed since we changed from a gas stove.
