Hi there! Thank you for checking with us on this. For this cooktop, the cutout dimensions are between 28 1/2 - 28 5/8" of length and 19 5/8 - 19 3/4” of width. The cutout also needs a 1-3/4” MIN between the rear edge of the cutout and the wall behind the cooktop and a 2-1/2” MIN from the front edge of the cutout and the front edge of the countertop. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have added a picture of MY cutout that was for my previous unit. To install this unit required some wood to the right and left under the unit to support it because the glass overlap is only a fraction of an inch. It works without a trim kit but only barely. Also, the most depth is needed in the rear where I had it. My oven unit that is under the cooktop angles up in the front for the controls. At first the installer was thinking it wouldn't play but it did.
