This refrigerator uses the premium RPWFE filter that reduces trace pharmaceuticals from water and ice to provide you with advanced levels of water filtration. This refrigerator uses radio frequency identification to monitor the filter status and is equipped with a Water Filter Indicator Light to inform you to replace the filter, which occurs usually after around 6 months of usage.
