Hi Buddy - Thanks for considering GE Profile Model PVD28BYNFS! Space Saving Icemaker produces approximately 3.6 lbs. per day. The ice bucket stores 3.8 lbs. of ice that can be dispensed through dispenser on the door or by removing the ice bucket from the door. Also, bottom freezer and French door refrigerators have a water reservoir coil in the fresh food section that holds 12 - 24 oz. of water. The water is chilled and stored until it is needed. Since the reservoir is in the fresh food section, the water will not be ice-cold. After the 12 - 24 oz. of cold water is dispensed, any additional water dispensed will not be chilled until the water in the coil tubing has had time to chill again. We hope this is helpful.
