“Will the water & ice functions still operate, even if ithe REPLACE FILTER indicator is ON? I plan to use a filtered water source for the refrigerator and want to know if I'll be 'forced' to change the water filter. Thank You!”

The water and ice will eventually stop working if the filter isn't replaced. We recommend installing the by-pass plug in order for the water and ice to continue to work.
