Q: QuestionCan the dryer door be switched so that the door hinge is on the left (when facing the dryer)?

• A:Answer Yes, instructions come with the dryer for changing the door hinge. I'd suggest making this a requirement when you schedule install so time is planned for installer to complete change during the same trip.

Q: QuestionI purchased this months ago. Works fine. Questions: Any way to make buttons easier to push as my finger hurts I have to push soo hard changing settings? ALSO: Is there a way to get it to REMEMBER your favorite setting? I do not use default HOT, less DRY.

• A:Answer Hello- We appreciate your purchase. This is an excellent dryer and we want you to love it! You shouldn't have to push hard on the controls. Tap the middle of the white text to highlight the feature or function you want to use. Once a selection is made, you will hear a tone and that selection will be highlighted. Keep in mind that the display responds to finger taps so no need to press hard or tap aggressively. The My Cycle can be done through the SmartHQ App. The My Cycle feature is available through the App only. There is not a My Cycle selection on the control panel on the dryer. Q: QuestionI think I might have 3 inches to spare between the back wall and the back of the machine. The video said to have 6 inches between back wall and back of machine. Will it be ok with 3 inches between them?

• A:Answer I had same issue and put in warranty claim with GE. It was actually a rubber washer grommet that was dislodged from the reservoir. 5 minute find and fix from tech no charge. Liquid now doesn’t leak

While we can assure you we use the same Sapphire Blue color for both the washer and dryer, it is not unusual for the various parts of an appliance pair to cast a slightly different color due to the different materials used in manufacturing. The room lighting can also give the appearance of a slightly different color finish. This is normal and not cause for concern.
