“Can you install this microwave under an upper cabinet but not over a range? The built in models open down and not with a swing door like this one that we love so we are looking for an alternative.”

Hi Jastra - Thanks for choosing GE Profile Model # PSA9240SFSS! It can be installed under a cabinet, even if there is not a cooking surface underneath; however, the height clearances must still be met. Over- the- range models must be installed 66" from the floor to the bottom of the cabinet that the microwave attaches to. This can also be measured as 30" from the cooktop to the bottom of the cabinet it attaches to.
