One full reservoir can make 3-4 bins of ice but if you don’t store the made ice in your freezer or use all the ready made ice left in the ice maker bin, it will melt back into the reservoir and the melted ice will remake a new batch of ice. So if you don’t use all your ice it can keep cycling from the first fill of the reservoir by constantly making ice until it’s all used up then you need to refill it. I store a few batches of made ice in my freezer and then turn off my ice maker til I run out so it doesn’t keep cycling.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Thank you for asking this great question! The time before you need to refill this unit will vary depending on how much ice you use. If you tend to use more ice throughout the day, you may have to refill your tank more often. We hope this information helps, and if you have additional questions, please reach out to us. Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My tank doesn’t work. I have to fill the bend (under the ice door) I just took the tank off since it doesn’t work. I fill up according to how much ice I use.. once a day normally..
