• Distilled water is best, because the others will leave mineral deposits on the machine.

• Any product using water is ONLY as good as the water you chose to use... or as good as the filters it uses. This appliance has no filtration except to keep large particulates out of the path. We use purified water from our RO system and love the ice produced.
