“I just installed the Opal 2.0. It works great. It has a light that I believe is UV for sanitation. Should I have it on all the time? Dim light vs. full bright? I haven’t found recommendations yet for this.”

• The UV light is in the 2nd water reservoir on the inside of the machine. The light in the ice tray is just a light.

• This is just a convenience led light. It is not Uv and does not function as a sanitizer. You have to clean the machine periodically with bleach.
