Does this make cubes or chipped ice null

It’s pellet or nugget ice like you get at Taco John’s, Jimmy John’s or Sonic. See attached picture of the ice on the tray next to a penny for comparison.

Neither. I would describe this ice like this: If you had tiny chips of ice and filled large straws with the chips, they might freeze into a long tube shape. When broken apart into 1/2 inch sections, you would get these wonderful little nuggets of ice.

Tiny, ice nuggets. They aren’t chipped. Some folks liken it to the ice you get at Sonic and while it is similar, it’s not exactly the same. The nuggets are slightly larger and a bit harder than the Sonic nuggets. I’ve included a pic of mine after it has produced a few rounds.
