These machines are JUNK, we should all ban together and file a class action lawsuit against GE for selling an extremely expensive, defective product!!!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi - We hate to hear about the difficulty you are having with your Profile Opal ice maker. We recommend cleaning and descaling your Opal per the directions in the owner's manual. Please check to be sure the Opal is sitting on a level surface with a minimum of 3" clearance on all sides and back of unit. Unplug your Opal and using a hand vacuum or the attachments on your vacuum cleaner clean the vents on the unit. Finally, if you have connected your Opal, make sure you didn't create a schedule on the app that could be shutting the ice maker off.
