It will take several hours to completely fill the ice bin. I leave mine ON or the Power On 24/7, any ice that melts is recirculated, and it continues to make new ice until the bin is full. It has an automatic sensor that tells it the bin is full. Hope this helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It will make 1 pound per hour. It holds 3 pounds, but, you can make & store in the freezer. I found it works well to put into a bin in freezer and after 5 minutes break it up, otherwise it will freeze in large clumps
